Customer Notice - Car Park Facilities

Following continued customer feedback the centre has installed ANPR cameras to manage our car-park.

  • There will be a limit of 2.5 hours maximum car parking within the leisure centre car park.
  • The scheme is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
  • It is purely to prevent users parking in the leisure centre and going off elsewhere..
  • It is run and managed by an outside organisation, not ourselves – there will be an appeals process but that will be through the management company not the centre.
  • We don’t receive, nor do EHDC receive any revenue from the tickets that will be issued if someone was to outstay the allotted time.
  • We have reviewed numerous schemes to put into place but this is the one that best suited the needs for the majority of our members, without adding any cost to the customer.
  • If you need to be here for longer, feel free to use one of the surrounding council car-parks which we will be happy to refund as we currently do now. Also note, these are free of charge (so no need to refund) after 6pm and on Sunday’s.

We hope that you agree that the changes will make a difference to the experience you receive and hope that it will make it a little easier to access the Leisure Centre.
