Following the open heart surgery operation on his son, Joseph, at the Royal Brompton Hospital, Ben Beevers from SLM decided to undertake a fundraising event of epic proportions.
Ben and a small team of colleagues completed a bike ride from Cleethorpes to Weymouth in just three days.
 
Ben and the team would like to thank everyone who has donated - so far we have donated well in excess of £5000 and have had some very generous sponsorship.  Through this and other fundraising activities that have been organised we are hoping to increase this total and pay for an incubator unit for new born babies in the pediatric intensive care ward at the hospital.
