Everyone Active Fareham Leisure Centre scooped the 'Gym Team of the Year' award at the National Fitness Awards held 25th November 2011 at the ICC in Birmingham .

The gym team at Everyone Active Fareham Leisure Centre were delighted to receive the award. Luke Sweeney, Fitness Manager at the centre, said: ‘It’s great for the team to be recognised for all our hard work and commitment to our members. We were up against some seriously tough competition, including two other Everyone Actives teams, so we are honoured to win and represent all the other great Everyone Active teams across the country.’

Everyone Active Fareham Leisure Centre has a fantastic record in winning accolades having won Silver in the Health Club Awards in September  and being a previous winner of the Fitness Industry Association's Leisure Centre of the Year award.  

The team are already planning how to come home with the gold at the 2012 Health Club Awards and be challenging for more industry recognition during the Olympic year.  "Winning awards is a great demonstration of how the team at the centre put our members at the heart of everything we do," comments Ian Cook, contracts manager for Fareham.  "This latest award recognises the particular efforts of our gym team and we are very proud to be able to say that we can offer our members the very best gym team in the country at Everyone Active Fareham Leisure Centre."
