Two children who are on swimming lessons at Lammas Leisure Centre were nominated for national awards as part of the Amateur Swimming Association Swimtastic Awards.
Courtney Johnson was nominated for Disability Swimmer of the Year. Courtney suffers with cerebal palsy and always attends her swimming lessons with a huge smile on her face. Her teachers say that she always puts 100% effort into her classes and is working hard through her Duckling badges.
Charlotte Hoole was nominated for Young Swimmer of the Year. Charlotte puts a tremendous amount of effort into every lesson and has progressed well through the national stages. Charlotte is currently working towards achieving her stage 7 qualification.
Both children were delighted to be nominated for the Awards and both received certificates in recognition of their achievement. Well done and keep up the hard work.
