Michelle Bletso has joined Sports and Leisure Management Ltd (SLM) as Group Exercise Manager.
Before joining SLM, Michelle worked as a freelance Management Consultant for Fit Pro, training clubs on group exercise and children's activity management. Prior to this Michelle spent 11 years Holmes Place Group running multiple sites and training staff in club management, sales and service.
”Being passionate about group exercise, when the position came up with SLM I felt it was too good an opportunity to miss,” comments Bletso. “There are some very specific challenges for group exercise within the local authority sector including educating staff to treat group exercise as a business.”
Bletso has high hopes for the group exercise programme at SLM, “In 12 months time I want the health industry to recognise SLM as a serious player when it comes to our group exercise product - we will be leading the way in new trends and our group exercise attendance will be admired.”
