In the last month the Lammas Leisure Centre has developed in conjunction with the Police and the Community Youth sector a self defence club for local youngsters in a bid to move them off the local streets and into a safe environment where they can become interested in activity and sport. Although this is ion the early stages, the uptake seems positive.
