Two of our colleagues, Dan Sergeant and Paul Smith, joined forces with two members, Chris Gray and Steve Allen, to raise money for Haven House Children’s Hospice. On 18th April they each rowed a marathon on our Concept2 rowers, this is approximately 42000 metres. An excellent effort on their part and is paying off for the children’s hospice as they are well on their way to raising £2000.
In support of them we challenged our members to row a marathon as a team in the month of April and those who have been participating have made us proud and are currently working toward their 5th marathon. An outstanding result!
