Fitness Suite
If you enjoy a good workout in a state of the art environment then why not try out our fitness suite. With 26 pieces of the latest Precor equipment and a small free weights area, this is a great way to boost your fitness levels. We have results cards designed to offer you a different workout every time and you can also book our personal training to provide motivation and results driven exercise plans.
Leisure Pool
With a built in wave machine there is always something happening in the water. Whether it’s our ASA accredited Swim School swimming lessons or Aqua Aerobics our wet activities offer something for everyone. We can also cater for birthday parties – please ask at reception for further details.
Squash Court
We can offer our customers a variety of racquet sports including squash. From budding professionals to enthusiastic amateurs we help cater for anyone wanting to be active with a racquet. We have 4 separate courts available 7 days a week.
Sports Hall
Our sports hall is able to offer a full range of group activities from 5-a-side football to badminton. It also plays host to circuit/legs bums and tums and a weekly ‘Salsa’ session every Tuesday, which is a very popular class.
Bowls Hall (winter season only)
Here at Grimsby Leisure Centre with have a 4 lane indoor bowls hall, which transforms in the summer months to a massive indoor play and bouncy castle area called Pirate Pete’s Playground, which is also brilliant for children’s parties – please ask a member of staff for further details.
Ice Rink
Our ice rink boasts great music, disco lighting, and a ‘snow machine’ that will give you a great and joyful experience every time you come skating. Measuring approximately 40m x 20m, there are many varied sessions available to suit all ages and abilities. We also have accredited Skate UK courses that cater for beginners through to our in house ice professionals who can teach you on a one to one basis. Ice dance shows, skating clubs, ice skating birthday parties and ice hockey matches make the ice rink a must visit! For further programme details please contact reception or see our web timetable.
Outdoor Courts
We can offer our customers a variety of outdoor sports 7 days a week. We have 4 courts within our outside area which are suitable for football, netball and tennis matches. Please ask at reception for further details.
Meeting Room / Party Room
Our meeting/party room is ideal for club meetings or children’s parties. We can provide food for parties if required, or guests can bring their own and enjoy this in one of our areas for party food consumption.
Toning Table Suite
Located within Grimsby Leisure Centre are our toning tables, available for approximately 60 min sessions. These are a great way to keep in good health and can even be used by those with physical or health issues. We also have professionally qualified therapists on hand twice a week to help cater to all your work out needs, as well as doing specialist ‘clinics’ for those who have been referred by their GP.
