Fitness Suite

If you enjoy a good workout in a state of the art environment then why not try out our fitness suite with 2 gyms.  Our main gym has the latest Precor equipment, heavy free weights, traditional resistant machines and power lifters. We now offer a new boxing area for people training for martial arts, boxing and kickboxing. We also have resistance machines with lower weights which are ideal for beginners to intermediate trainers.

Our newly designed upstairs gym is idela for new gym-phobics! Fitted with star track equipment it offers a range of lower free weights, matted area equiped with fit balls, medicine balls and kettle bells to give you a fun element to your routine.

We have results cards designed to offer you a different workout every time and to provide motivation and results driven exercise plans.

Group Exercise Studio

If you like to work out in a group then we have got classes to suit every need.  From classes designed specifically for 11-15 year olds to Core Blimey toning sessions – there will be something to spark your interest.  We offer the very latest in group exercise classes and techniques so there is every reason to be active at Festival Hall.

Sports Hall

Our sports hall is able to offer a full range of group activities from children's football sessions, badminton.  exercise classes such as Zumba and Legs Bums and Tums during the week which is a very popular class.  It also hosts a wide variety of functions and events from carboot sales, wedding fayres, sports presentations too evening entertain such as wedding's, special occassions and live acts.  Please see the Events page for up and coming events.   

Squash Courts

For those who want to be active with a racquet we offer a squash court.  Play for fun or get more serious – squash is a great form of activity.

Conference Venue

Our conference venue is ideal for business meetings and courses ranging from corporate days too first aid training. Whether it’s for a couple of hours or a full day our confrence room is sure to give you what you need to make your day run smoothly!

Corporate & Community Partnerships

PhysioLogique - Our inhouse Physiotherapist is Paul Scothern Bsc (Hons), MCSP, HPC. Paul Scothern is a fully qualified Physiotherapist who is registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professionals Council. Although working in two other Private Physiotherapy Practices in Nottingham, Paul is setting up at the Festival Hall Leisure Centre with the aim of providing quality Physiotherapy Services to the Nottinghamshire area at  a competitive rate. He aims to expand the service by the end of 2011 with the introduction of an acupuncture service.

'I have lived locally to Kirkby since I was born. I have used the everyone active centres for years and I got to know the staff and people really well. After graduating from University and beginning work in Private Physiotherapy Clinics in Nottingham, I saw a niche in the market to provide affordable and effective Physiotherapy to the locals of my birthplace. This has been made possible thanks to the opportunities, guidance and support of the everyone active centres and the staff who work there'.

Bouncy Castle Party
Full use of the sports hall for 2 hours, with a supervisor for the party (just turn up enjoy!!)

New Roller Skating Party
Full use of sportshall for 2 hours, Roller Skates included with a wide range of sizes to suit all ages from junior size 9 to adult size 11.

Room Hire
Available for children's and birthday parties ranging from 100 - 400 people.

Special Occasions
