Fitness Suite
If you enjoy a good work out then why not try out our fitness centre at Stratford Visitor and Leisure Centre. With a wide selection of equipment available this is a great way to boost your fitness levels. We have results cards designed to offer you a different work out every time and you can also book our personal trainer to provide motivation and results driven exercise plans.
Swimming Pools
With a main pool and a teaching pool there is always something happening in the water. Whether it’s our ASA accredited Swim School swimming lessons or Aqua Aerobics our wet activities offer something for everyone. We also offer results cards in the pool for those who want to use the pool to get fit and fun sessions for those who just want to relax.
Sports Hall
Our sports hall is able to offer a full range of group activities from 5-a-side football to badminton and netball. There are 8 different courts available for use and this room also plays host to a variety of midweek exercise classes. Please ask at reception for further details.
All Weather Pitches
We have 4 outdoor floodlit all-weather small-sided soccer pitches. Two of the pitches are also marked for tennis and make for an excellent playing surface. Customers can book pitches 7 days a week, please ask at reception for further details.
Café
Stratford Visitor and Leisure Centre offers a café seating up to 50 visitors, which provides a variety of light snacks and refreshments for all guests.
Meeting Room
Our meeting room is ideal for small community or business meetings. The room caters for approximately 30 people and a variety of catering menus can be provided. Please ask at reception for further details.
Sauna & Steam Room
You can unwind and loosen up after your workout in our relaxing Sauna or Steam Room both situated on the poolside.
Nursery and Crèche
The Nursery and Creche are situated on the first floor of the leisure centre, with views overlooking our swimming pools and outdoor areas. The facilities provide excellent child care facilities for parents, whether its for full-day care in the nursery or a short time in the crèche whilst parents take part in the centre’s activity programme.
Nursery
Our comfortable and friendly Ofsted registered nursery caters for up to 24 children. The nursery opens 51 weeks of the year and opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am until 6.00pm.
Our experienced, qualified and caring team deliver the early years foundation stage curriculum to children aged from 16 months to 5 years. We offer a wide variety of sessions including free nursery grants, part-time and full-time day care option. Children also learn and develop new life skills as we teach them swimming, mini-football and tumble sessions as part of the curriculum.

Creche
Our crèche operates Monday to Friday 9.15am to 12.45pm, 51 weeks of the year. Our qualified and experienced team provide a fun and caring environment for children aged from 4 months to 4 years. Activities provided include a soft-play area, cosy-corner, painting and crafts and lots and lots of fun!
We offer a free trial session and prices start from as little as £2.60 per session.
