About the Centre

Opened in 1923, Jesus Green Outdoor Swimming Pool is one of the oldest in the country. The pool still retains many of its original features and constantly proves to be a much used attraction for Cambridge residents and visitors alike.

This historic location in the heart of Cambridge city centre allows members to enjoy pool based activity in beautiful surroundings. The pool programme represents opportunities for everyone to swim whether your looking for fitness, relaxation or just a splash about.

New Strategy for Sport Launched By Cambridge City Council
Cambridge City Council Launches a new strategy for sport at the official opening of the redeveloped Abbey Leisure Centre.
Jesus Green Swimming Pool has new Manager!
Chris Duncan formerly Leisure Manager at facilities managed by SLM in North East Lincolnshire has been appointed as the New General Manager of Jesus Green Swimming Pool for the forthcoming summer. Chris has had vast experience in working with facilities with swimming pools and is very keen to promote the benefits of swimming to its local community.
Opening Day
Jesus Green Swimming Pool is looking to host a fantastic Open Day on Saturday 9th May. The day will consist of swimming activity tasters, teamed games, live music, balloon making, face painting, craft and snack stalls.
Over 60’s Swimming
This season will be a little bit different for the 60’s and over swimmers, and the reason being is because it is FREE!
Oldest Outdoor Swimming Pool in the UK
Opened in 1923, Jesus Green Lido is one of the oldest in the country.
