National Everyone Active Day on 7th July 2012.

On 7th July we are opening the doors of all Everyone Active run leisure centres to the general public in a day of free activity.

This National Everyone Active day will see a wide range of activities taking place, in pools, in sports halls, in gyms and in outdoor spaces.  The idea is to get as many people as possible to enjoy activity on one day and to see for themselves the benefits that activity can bring.

Commenting on the day Neil King, Commercial Director of Everyone Active said, “What we want to do is show the people who live close to one of our centres the range of fantastic activities that can be done with Everyone Active.  The National Everyone Active day is a way of opening our doors up to people who might not use our centres at all or may only use them for one thing, such as swimming lessons.”

The majority of activities and taster sessions on the day will be provided free or charge although some may need to be booked in advance due to popularity and restricted numbers.  There may be a small charge made for some of the activities which will be available during the day.
