Goal League

Goal League

Goal League PNGWhat is it?

The Goal League is a brand new non-contact football derived sport, where you can post all of your goals online to social media direct from our court cams!

The game itself is a 10m x 14m court based version of the street soccer sport "Headers and volleys".

"Headers and volleys" has been played in the streets of Europe and South America for over a century, it is played when there is only 3 or 4 of you there, not enough for a regular game of football.

"Headers and volleys" is a game where one player goes in as the Goalkeeper, and the other players try to score a goal while keeping the ball airborne.

The League

  • TheGoal League consists of 20 teams of 2 players.
  • The Goal League is 4 weeks long.
  • Each team plays 38 games over 4 x 1 hour sessions.
  • Home games you're attacking, away games you're the goalkeeper.
  • First to 5 goals wins.
  • Goalkeeper scores goals by making saves, missed goal attempts, and when the ball bounces twice.

The Ball

The ball we use is the same weight and size as a standard indoor football, so it's flight characteristics are the same. However, it has a foam core and a rubber outer, so it's completely safe to use, and easier to control and do kick ups with!

  • The price of entering a team into The Goal League is £50.00.
  • That works out at just £6.25 per player per week.
