Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido | Outdoor Swimming Pool

Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido features the only lido in Leicestershire. Situated in the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, our outdoor lido swimming pool offers a fun location to enjoy during those hot summer days.

The pool, which was first opened in 1929, has undergone a significant transformation during the period of closure on the back of a customer consultation exercise and subsequent  investment from the centre’s operators, Everyone Active.

This fantastic facility is the perfect place to while away the summer months. Whether you want to enjoy the cooling water or relax by the poolside, it’s ideal for everyone, especially children and families.

There are actually two outdoor pools that make up the Lido – a 30m by 10m main pool and a smaller 10m by 6m pool. They’re both available for fun public swimming sessions throughout the summer season, while they can also be hired for parties and other private events. We now also offer a new Ashby-by-the-Sea sandpit feature and brand new catering hub available for refreshments.
