About this Centre
Becontree Heath Leisure Centre in Dagenham has a range of facilities that you can take advantage of. The centre has two pools in which you can enjoy a variety of aquatic activities, including our award-winning swimming lessons. Furthermore, the 100-station gym is packed with all the latest equipment, while the sports hall plays host to a whole range of different activities. Meanwhile, the group fitness studios host a number of sessions each week that are suited to just about everyone, while you can also hold children’s parties here that allow you to have all the fun, without the fuss.

Our fitness suite boasts over 100 stations of the latest, most state-of-the-art Technogym equipment that is spread over two fully air-conditioned gyms. Furthermore, our Fitness Motivators are on hand to help you make the most of your work out and achieve your fitness goals, whatever they may be.
Swimming Pool
Becontree heath is home to two pools – a 25m x 25m main pool, as well as a smaller, shallower teaching pool. It’s in these that we host a number of aquatic activities, including our award-winning swimming lessons, alongside other sessions that are both fun and active. Group Fitness Studio
We have two air-conditioned group fitness studios, complete with a wide variety of exercise equipment which allow us to offer over 75 group fitness classes each week. These have been specifically designed to suit people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels, so you’re sure to find one for you.
