Swimming Pools

Following the government announcement regarding the opening of swimming pools a decision has been made to not reopen the outdoor pool for the remainder of this year. Set up of the outdoor pool takes approximately 6 – 8 weeks to prepare, which would mean it could only open for a very short period of time before the end of the season. The Covid19 situation has caused a long period of uncertainty regarding the opening of the leisure sector and with limited notice of a confirmed opening date preparation works have not been possible in time.

Unfortunately, the commercial viability of reopening the outdoor pool has also had to be considered, as social distancing requirements will significantly impact income generation. There is also substantial costs associated with both preparing and running the outdoor pools, which have had to be taken into account during these very challenging times.

We are delighted to announce that our indoor pools will open on 29th July. We’re very excited to be reopening these facilities – with safe operational measures in place – and will be in contact with customers soon to confirm further details.

Outdoor Pools

Make the most of the summer and head on down to our glorious outdoor pool. You can take a refreshing dip in the 25m x 12m main pool to help you escape the heat of the day, or use it to get your daily swim, while there’s also a smaller kids’ paddling pool with fountains for the children to enjoy. Both pools are heated to ensure you won’t get cold and can enjoy the water right the way through the summer, while the picnic benches with parasols make it the perfect destination for a family outing.
