Fitness and endurance is, obviously, an absolutely vital part of any climb and so it’s vital you train yourself to improve your endurance to ensure you can meet your long-term climbing goals. In this video, we explore low intensity, high volume training, meaning you’re not working yourself too hard, but are doing lots of climbing to ensure you build that essential climbing fitness. In order for this sort of training to work its magic, ideally you need to be doing it once or twice a week for around eight weeks. It may not be particularly glamorous or exciting, but it is vital if you want to improve your climbing ability.
