Golf Club

The Middlesbrough Municipal Golf Centre is host to the Middlesbrough Municipal Golf Club. Both are separate organisations with a different function.

The Golf Centre offers general golf through pay and play or by becoming a season ticket holder which offers unlimited golf.

The Golf Club is a Club which is based at the Golf Centre and has separate membership for those who enjoy competitive and organised social golf.

It is not a requirement to join the Club to play at the Golf Centre.

The benefits of being a Club member are as follows.

  • Competitive Golf through formal and informal competitions.
  • The issuing of handicaps for competitions.
  • Gents/ Ladies/ Senior categories of membership.
  • Annual membership fee’s are due in January and cost £40 for year one and £30 a year thereafter.
  • Strong social events participation with regular events.
  • Social Golf. Formal team events played both at home and visiting other local Golf Clubs.
  • Fully affiliated Club to the English Golf Union and the Teesside Union.
  • Organised annual Pro/Am competition.
