Swan Pool & Leisure Centre offers a wide range of accessible facilities to accommodate all needs. Everyone Active’s goal is to encourage everyone to participate in 30 minutes of activity 5 days a week, and our facilities allow this goal to be achieved. Please see our accessibility information below

Carpark and Entrance

The car park has 8 designated wheelchair friendly spaces closely situated to the front of the facility, ramped access from the carpark to the main entrance and Automatic Doors.

Reception

The reception desk is situated upon entry. There is a hearing induction loop installed at the main reception, turnstiles leading from reception into the facility with a separate gate for wheelchair and push chair access.

Toilets and Changing

There are 2 unisex accessible toilet situated in the reception area, x2 unisex accessible toilet/changing facilities in the main swimming changing area. There is 1 additional accessible toilet located by the Fitness Suite.

Poolside Facilities

There are large family cubicles in the main swimming pool changing room which make them more suitable for disabled users and their families. There is a hoist to assist disabled customers getting in and out of the pool, please request use of this at reception or to any member of the pool team.

Gym Facilities

The fitness suite has Inclusive Fitness Initiative accredited equipment which includes treadmills, upright cycles, recumbent cycle, Watt Bikes, Power Plates,  Gravity Power Towers and Concept 2 rowers. As well as this range of cardio equipment we provide Free Weights up to 50kg with a range of resistance machines.

Vending

There is a range of food and drink Vending Machines including Coffee for customers who need it, staff are available to support customers to use the vending machines.

Here at Swan Pool and Leisure Centre, you’ll find everything you’ll need to enjoy an active and healthy exercise regime. You’ll find a state-of-the-art gym, alongside our pool, in which we host our award-winning swimming lessons, among other aquatic activities, while you can also enjoy a variety of group exercise classes that cater for all abilities and ages. You can enjoy a game of squash, while we also boast an outdoor five-a-side football pitch and a climbing wall. Furthermore, you can relax in our sauna after a hard workout and childcare isn’t an issue either, thanks to our superb crèche.
