Inspirational Clubs and Volunteers celebrate at first Ealing Sports Awards

To recognise and reward inspirational clubs and individuals, Ealing Council has teamed with Everyone Active to launch the exciting new Ealing Sports Awards. The first event of its kind, which took place on Thursday 13th July, celebrated the achievements of sporting clubs, inspirational volunteers and fantastic sporting individuals in the borough.

The local community were invited to vote for clubs who create friendly, welcoming and inclusive environments; as well as sporting personalities and volunteers who have exceeded expectations in their field. The event itself was sponsored by the leisure industry’s ‘Operator of the Year’ Everyone Active. Members of the local community were encouraged to make nominations by visiting the Ealing Sport Awards website. Anyone who made a nomination was then automatically entered in to a prize draw for the chance to win a year’s free Everyone Active membership.
