A finalist of BBC One’s prime-time reality show, The Apprentice, has teamed up with a local leisure operator to help more people in Sunderland get active, as well as officially launch her new active wear collection.
Katie Bulmer-Cooke has partnered with Everyone Active to deliver a number of personal training sessions and fitness classes. She attended the Silksworth Community Pool, Tennis and Wellness Centre on Tuesday (9 January) to put visitors through their paces during a group class, as well as launch her new range of fitness clothing, ‘KBC+AIM’.
The 31-year-old fitness entrepreneur rose to prominence as a one of Lord Sugar’s candidates on series 10 of The Apprentice. She is well regarded in the health and fitness sector, having won a number of accolades including Personal Trainer of the Year and UK Fitness Professional of the Year.
This latest venture will see Katie team up with Everyone Active, who operated eight leisure centres on behalf of Sunderland City Council, to run a number of fitness sessions at its venues across the city and encourage people to become more active.
To launch celebrate her partnership with Everyone Active, Katie delivered both an interval training and Pilates class, and offered advice on fitness, nutrition and health at Silksworth Community Pool and Wellness Centre.
During the event, guests were also given a sneak peek of Katie’s active wear collection, which is designed to make working out more comfortable for women.
The Apprentice star said: “I am thrilled to have finally launched my brand new active wear range. The event was a huge success, and I hope that participants were inspired to begin their fitness journey at one of Everyone Active’s fantastic leisure centres.
“I am proud to partner with Everyone Active to deliver a wide-range of classes over the next year and work with members as a personal trainer to help them achieve their fitness goals.”
