Clubs Safety Measures

Following the Governments COVID announcement

As per the latest Government announcement, we are delighted to be open.

Whilst our gyms and swimming pools will remain open in all tiers, some of the facilities we are able to offer customers will be affected in tier 3 areas.

Details on what facilities will be available in each tier can be found below. Please familiarise yourself with this information, along with our COVID-safety measures.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times. Stay safe, keep active and we will see you all very soon!

Please continue to familiarise yourself with the latest information. See further information on Local Restriction Tiers and Government Social Distancing Guidelines.

We have identified activities that we can operate safely within current Government guidance.

We are now encouraging clubs to understand the guidance and what this means for starting up their activities again. We recognise that some activities will need to be run in a very different way to how they’ve been operated before and we would encourage you to think about this within the current environment.

Guidance for Clubs and Hirers (18 Plus) using Everyone Active Facilities

Following the good news from the Government that we can reopen the centre please ensure you operate your session within the following tier restrictions.

In Tier 1 locations
You must follow the rule of six indoors.

In Tier 2 locations
Classes and organised adult sport cannot take place indoors if there is any interaction between people from different households.

In Tier 3 locations
Group exercise activities and sports indoors should not take place.

If you feel that you are able to operate safely in accordance with the Government guidance and have completed your risk assessment you can continue to use the facility as follows:

  • In Tier 1 following the rule of six for indoor activities
  • in Tier 2 ensuring that there is NO interaction between the participants before, during or after the session
  • In Tier 3 NO adult activity run indoors

We will not be assessing the suitability of your control measures but will expect this to comply with the Government guidance. Should your running of the activity be outside the government guidance, we will cancel the booking until further control measures are in place in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Organised activities for elite athletes, under-18s and disabled people can continue across all 3 tiers.
