Welcome to Run Middlesbrough the home of the Ali Brownlee Riverside Run – Sunday 1st July 2018 and the Tees Pride 10k – Sunday 2nd September 2018.
These are well established events and with Fun Runs attached to both they are seen as fantastic community events that attract thousands of runners of all abilities to each one.
Both events offer a flat fast course ideal for those seeking a personal best time and also for those looking to complete their first ever running event.
There is always a fantastic carnival atmosphere for everyone attending. Participants of the Riverside Run will pass some of Middlesbrough’s iconic sites including, The Transporter Bridge, Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond’s Temenos and finishing with a lap of the Riverside Stadiums pitch being cheered on by friends, relatives and the general public, its an experience not to be missed.
The Tees Pride with its full road closures is seen by many as the best 10k road race in the region. Now in its 14th year and with the Acklam Hall Summer festival taking place immediately after it guarantees a bit of everything and a complete day out for all the family.
In addition, Teesside’s generosity comes to the fore with tens of thousands of pounds raised for charity each year.
