About this Centre
With its fantastic range of facilities, Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido (formerly Hood Park Leisure Centre) is the ideal place for everyone – regardless of age or ability – to enjoy getting active and the benefits that regular exercise can bring.
There’s a fantastic gym that’s packed with all the latest equipment, both indoor and outdoor lido swimming pools, a four-court sports hall and two outdoor, fully-floodlit 3G Astroturf football pitches. We also offer a great range of fitness classes designed to suit everyone, whether you want an intense calorie burning class or something a little more relaxed.
As well as more traditional sporting facilities, the centre also boasts a skate park too.
Leisure Link is an annual subscription that gives you discounted access to selected leisure activities, public swimming sessions and swimming lessons.

Group Fitness Studio
We’ve got a huge selection of group fitness classes for you to enjoy, ranging from intense calorie-killing classes to more relaxed, calming sessions. Several of the sessions come from the world-renowned Les Mills stable, including virtual classes.
Swimming Pool
Our swimming pools are the perfect place for you and your family to have fun and get active. We host all sorts of swim sessions in our main pool, teaching pool and outdoor lido swimming pool, including lane swimming and our award-winning swimming lessons. These are perfect for everyone; running all year round and designed for children and adults alike. 
Artificial Football Pitch
