You can enjoy a huge range of different sports and activities at Middlesbrough Sports Village. There’s a state-of-the-art gym, a full programme of group fitness classes, indoor badminton sessions and a soft play area for kids. Outside, the Village boasts a full range of athletics facilities, including an eight-lane 400m track, a 10-lane 100m track, as well as four long jump pits. There’s also high jump, hammer throwing, javelin and pole vaulting facilities. The latest addition to the facility is a £1.6m, 250m velodrome, alongside five all-weather outdoor pitches and a skate park for BMX bikes, scooters and inline skaters.

There’s a large free weights area, while our staff are always on hand to help you get the most out of yourself and your workout. We also offer a strength and conditioning area, virtual fitness classes and gym based classes.
Our group fitness studio plays host to a variety of different classes. Whatever your fitness goals may be, you’re sure to find the right class for you, while the social nature of the sessions means you can meet new people too.
In total, there are 19 3G all-weather artificial football pitches here at MSV, which allow for five-a-side games, all the way up to full-sized, 11-a-side matches. These are all available for both casual bookings and for more serious teams. Children's football coaching is also available via Boro Soccer Schools/a>.
