About this Centre
Having served the community since 1931, Bristol South is one of the most historically significant pools in the Bristol area and is set within a Grade 2 Listed building. The 30.5m pool hosts all our aquatic activities, including award-winning swimming lessons, as well as sessions for those who just want to swim for fitness. You can also make use of our multi-purpose room that can be used for everything from children’s parties to meetings.

Our 30m main swimming pool is a challenging and rewarding swim that will help you build your confidence and fitness in the water. As well as helping keep you fit, you’ll also have a great time doing it.
Swimming Lessons
Come and take advantage of our award-winning swimming lessons. Available three days a week, and at times to cater for everyone's needs, while whatever your age or ability, our fully-qualified swimming teachers will help you progress. If you require further information, enquire today.
National Pool Lifeguard Training Centre
If you want to be a lifeguard, come in and speak to our trainer assessor to get all the necessary information to start this journey. We set high standards and pride ourselves on excellent pass rates. We offer a quality service and at least 10 courses every year.
