North Herts Community Outreach programme provides a variety of community classes in community venues and outdoor locations across Hitchin, Royston, Letchworth and the surrounding villages, which are designed to offer customers a fun and convenient way to keep active. Many of our classes are held in local venues, including village halls, churches, community centres and outdoor locations. These activities support our aim to increase accessibility for the communities we serve.

At Grange Fellowship Community Centre, parents can join the EA Buggies & Bands class on Tuesdays from 9:00 to 10:30. This indoor session is perfect for those looking to get fit while caring for a little one in a buggy. The class blends cardio and strength exercises to boost fitness levels, burn calories, and improve strength and endurance. All buggies and strollers are suitable, allowing your little ones to come along for the ride.
The Strength & Mobility class at Knebworth Parish Centre runs on Fridays from 14:00 to 15:00. This session is designed to help strengthen muscles, improve balance, and increase confidence in movement. Participating can reduce the risk of falls and help individuals maintain their independence.
Avenue Park in Baldock is home to an outdoor gym that provides a fantastic opportunity to stay active and enjoy the fresh air. This facility is free to use and does not require any prior booking, making it a convenient option for spontaneous workouts.
Weston Village Hall hosts Senior Circuits on Tuesdays from 11:00 to 12:00. This gentle yet effective class provides a full-body workout using low-impact moves. It combines cardiovascular and resistance exercises, choreographed to uplifting music, specifically designed to help older adults achieve tangible improvements in their fitness and overall well-being.
At Whitwell Fellowship Hall, Senior Circuits takes place on Tuesdays from 9:00 to 10:00.
