About this Centre
Here at Sandy Sports Centre, our mission is to help everyone in the local community enjoy getting active for at least 30 minutes, five times a week. To help us do that, our centre is packed with outstanding facilities and all the latest equipment. These include a 35-station gym and a four-court sports hall. There’re also two group exercise studios, two squash courts and a full-size sand-filled artificial turf pitch.

Sandy Sports Centre’s 35-station gym is ideal for everyone, regardless of whether you’re a regular gym-goer or are just starting out. Whether you prefer cardio, resistance, functional, free weights workouts – or a combination of all four – you’ll find a gym that’s suited to everyone and packed with all the latest equipment.
Group Fitness Studio
We’ve got two group exercise studios here at Sandy Sports Centre. Each week we’ve got a packed timetable of classes designed to suit everyone from intense, lung-busting sessions such as Les Mills BODYPUMP to more relaxed classes like Yoga and Pilates. You’re sure to find something to suit you!
Sports Hall
Our spacious and versatile four-court sports hall is where you can enjoy a huge range of sports and activities. These include the likes of tables tennis, badminton, volleyball, netball, basketball, football and so much more. It’s also where we host some of our amazing birthday parties!
Squash Courts
Here at Sandy Sports Centre, we have two squash courts, which are perfect for enjoying a game of this fast-paced racquet sport.
Artificial Football Pitch
Enjoy a kickabout with friends, practice with your team or organise a more serious tournament on our outdoor full-size sand-filled artificial pitch.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you. Anyone can use our centre on a casual basis, all you need to do is register for an Everyone Active card. This will enable you to start booking classes & activities online or via the Everyone Active app.
