Stevenage Community Outreach programme provides a variety of community classes in community venues which are designed to offer customers a fun and convenient way to keep active. Many of our classes are held in local venues, including village halls. These venues and activities all form our “doorstop” sessions to provide the local community interactive social activities.

Join us at the St Nicholas Community Centre for a gentle seated exercise session, specifically designed to help you build strength for everyday activities. These beneficial classes run every Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30.
Get ready for a full-body workout at the Symonds Green Community Centre! Our class combines energising cardiovascular exercises with effective resistance training, all set to uplifting music, helping you achieve tangible fitness improvements. Come along every Wednesday from 18:30 to 19:30 and feel the difference.
At Fairlands Valley Park, you can choose between two excellent sessions: Pilates, focusing on slow, measured movements to build lean, strong core muscles, improve posture, flexibility, and prevent injury, available every Monday from 13:00 to 14:00; or Yoga, a timeless discipline designed to bring balance and harmony to body and mind through postures and breath, boosting your immune system, encouraging relaxation, and correcting posture alignment, held every Monday from 14:00 to 15:00.
