The swimming pool at Berkhamsted Leisure Centre remains closed until further notice due to a leak requiring repair.
Members who are on our Swim Fit or Swim only memberships have been communicated with directly regarding direct debit arrangements.
We sincerely apologise for any disruption caused by the closure. We will continue to keep you informed with regular updates.
Update – 2nd May 2024
We are pleased to share that the repair work on the leak in the swimming pool at Berkhamsted Leisure Centre commenced this week and is progressing well.
We are unable to confirm a reopening date at this stage, but our contractor will soon finalise the schedule of works, allowing us to provide a more precise update on our reopening plans.
In the meantime, swimming lessons continue at Hemel Hempstead, and the pool there remains open for public swimming. We are very grateful for your ongoing patience and understanding.
Any refunds or freezes to memberships will take effect on the 1st June direct debit collection. There is no action required on your behalf.

Where we haven’t be able to provide a like for like swimming lesson we have had to move the following lessons to a new time/day. Please look for the session you are currently in at Berkhamsted to see your new time at Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre.

Where we haven’t been able to move your lesson across to Hemel Hempstead we have had to cancel your lessons until the pool reopens at Berkhamsted Leisure Centre. Your lessons will be frozen.
