Exciting changes are coming to Meadowside Leisure Centre as we invest in improving your experience across the site. We are extending and refurbishing the soft play area and upgrading the gym facilities – there’s something for everyone to look forward to!
Soft Play Expansion & Refurbishment
We’re making our soft play bigger and better than ever!
The current climbing wall will be removed starting 5th May 2025, with work beginning on the soft play the week commencing 9th June 2025.
The brand-new soft play will open its doors on 21st June 2025
Gym Refurbishment
We’re also giving our gym a refresh, including:
- New Recovery Area: Featuring Theraguns and tools for effective recovery and relaxation.
- Latest Life Fitness Equipment: State-of-the-art machines for every fitness goal.
- Modern Makeover: New flooring, lighting, and décor for a refreshed, welcoming feel.
Works to the gym start Monday 2nd June, and are due to finish Sunday 22nd June 2025.
There will be no closure while these works are taking place, and we are aiming for minimal disruptions in the gym during this time.
