£750k gym investment coming July 2024!
The gym at North Herts Leisure Centre is set to undergo an extensive refurbishment to improve the layout, install brand-new fitness equipment and flooring, enhance lighting and redecorate throughout.
Saturday 6th July – Work begins!
July will see the first phase of the work commence with the gym closing for one day on Saturday 6…th July and re-opening 7th July in the existing Free weights room and main rear gym area only. Access will be via the back stairs.
The works will see a renovation of the gym including NEW Dynamic, Universal and Calm zoning decoration and the installation of new state-of-the-art equipment.
PT Studio
From Saturday 6th July the PT Studio will be closed. Please note that Personal Training sessions will continue in the gym during the refurbishment works and classes from this area are being re-located.
We will also be launching the EA performance and conditioning classes at this time.
Please check the Everyone Active App for relocated classes or speak with your instructors for more details.
Whilst your gym is being refurbished you don’t have to miss your workout, the gym will be remaining open, with equipment relocating to other areas in the centre for continued use. In addition, North Herts Leisure Centre members will have use of all other Everyone Active centres until 31st August 2024.
New Equipment
As part of the refurbishment works, the gym will benefit from a whole host of brand-new, state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment.
- Installation of All new cardio equipment including arc trainers, cross trainers, rowers and treadmills
- Installation of All new resistance equipment including dual pulley, lat pulldown, chest press, shoulder press and leg press
- Installation of ALL new free weights including benches, dumbbells and squat racks
- Installation of ALL new plate loaded resistance machines including half rack and smith machine
