Redcar Kite Festival
Redcar Kite Festival returns to the skies above Majuba Beach, Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th June. This free family-friendly festival organised by Redcar and Cleveland Council and supported by Tees Valley combined Authority and Everyone Active will once again welcome some of the world’s largest and most spectacular kites in the world, courtesy of Northern Kite Group.
To celebrate this event, we are offering all children aged 11 and under throughout Redcar, Cleveland and Middlesbrough the fantastic opportunity to see their own kite design brought to life.
Why not let your imagination swim wild? Draw your favourite sea creature – big, bold, and simple, for a chance to have your design fly high on a real 1m x 1m diamond kite.
The winner will not only have their winning design printed onto a kite for them to take home, but they will also win a 6-month family membership for their local Everyone Active centre and a family ticket to see any Middlesbrough FC home game with a Match Day experience during the 2025/26 season.
Two runners-up will also win a 3-month family membership at their local Everyone Active centre and family tickets to any Middlesbrough FC home game with a Match Day experience during the 2025/26 season.
Please return your entry to your local Everyone Active centre by no later than 5:00 pm on Sunday, 25th May.

To enter competition, visit www.everyoneactive.com/kitefestival to download the kite template, or collect from your local Everyone Active centre, and draw your favourite sea creature , provide your name, age, name of your school and your parent/guardian’s name, email address and telephone number and submit to your local centre during Promotional Period. The winning design will be the one that the judge feels is creative, best meets the specified theme and uses bold colours that will stand out when the kite is flying in the sky. 1 x main prize of the winner’s design being printed onto a standard white, diamond kite; a family membership (2 adults and 2 children) for 6 consecutive months at your local participating Everyone Active centre and tickets for 2 adults and 2 children to attend 1 x Middlesbrough FC home match with Match Day experience during the 2025/26 season. 2 x runners up prizes of a 3 consecutive months family membership (2 adults and 2 children) at your local participating Everyone Active centre and tickets for 2 adults and 2 children to attend a Middlesbrough FC home match with Match Day experience during the 2025/26 season.
