Indoor Bowls with Everyone Active

Indoor bowls is a popular sport for people of ages and abilities and very social. If you’re new to the sport, don’t worry, our staff will be happy to help. They’ll give you some tips on how to get started; including how to use the bowls equipment such as woods and jack correctly – all you need do is book a session at your nearest Everyone Active centre with an indoor bowls . Bowls has been part of British life for centuries, so why not try something out-of-the-ordinary today?

Everyone Active works closely with Bowls England to develop our indoor bowlers across the country. We have many facilities across the country that welcome all customers to play.

Bowls England is the governing body for bowls and indoor bowls in England, responsible for the development of the sport at all levels nationally.

Indoor bowls is a great way for people of all ages and abilities to stay active. It can be enjoyed socially or competitively and is a fantastic way to keep fit. Indoor bowls is also inclusive, with many clubs offering easy access facilities such as ramps and doorways.

New to Indoor Bowls?

If you’re new to the sport, don’t worry as one of our fully trained coaches will be on hand to offer advice on how to get started; they’ll help you use bowls equipment such as woods and jack correctly. All you need to do is get in touch with your nearest Everyone Active centre and book an induction.

Walkabout (bowling)

Play teams of six over a series of rounds using one ball per person. The winner is the team who wins the most points overall by winning singles matches off each other’s scores. This game includes four playing areas: Two singles lanes and two doubles lanes which allow you to play as individuals against another player or pair respectively; doubles pairs should be matched according to ability so that they can compete evenly against each other without anyone having an unfair advantage over their opponent(s). One member from each winning pair will play against the next pair until there are only two remaining teams left after which those two teams will go head-to-head in order to decide who becomes champions!
