Nothing gets us more pumped while we’re in the midst of an intense workout than a killer playlist.

So, whether you’re a pop fan, chart listener or heavy metal lover, we’ve compiled an all-inclusive list of our top ten encouraging tracks, featuring some old classics, as well as new favourites that should help keep you motivated whilst you’re working up a sweat in the gym.

This playlist is guaranteed to help you work out harder for longer and help us achieve our mission of getting everyone doing at least 30 minutes of activity, five times a week.

1) Fatboy Slim – Praise you

This feel good ‘90s hit is the perfect choice to jump start your warm up before you really get into your exercises for the day.

2) Bruno Mars – Finesse (Remix) [Feat. Cardi B]

Our second track features a catchy beat paired with silky smooth vocals from American singer song-writer Bruno Mars and rapper Cardi B. It’s guaranteed to put you in the mood for a workout.

3) Motörhead – Ace of Spades

The metal enthusiasts amongst us will recall the infamous ‘Ace of Spades’ by Motörhead, with its aggressive, superfast beat and raucous lyrics, making it the ideal workout companion.

4) Darude – Sandstorm

Fans of the ‘90s will again remember this high-tempo, high-intensity dance classic, designed to keep us strutting our stuff both in the gym and on the dance floor for hours.

5) Salt-N-Pepa – Push it

When you’re halfway through your workout it’s understandable that you may begin to start losing traction. This rap duo’s ‘80s track is certain to encourage you to train harder and faster.

6) Kanye West – Stronger

To keep your heart rate up and ensure you’re working up a sweat, have a listen to this noughties classic from American rapper Kanye West. You’ll be guaranteed to be singing along by the end of “N-now th-that that don’t kill me, can only make me stronger”.

7) MC Hammer – You can’t touch this

If you’re struggling to think of new ways to exercise, take inspiration from the video of this smash hit and try and incorporate some of the moves as part of your fitness regime. Lycra and oversized baggy trousers are optional of course!

Channel your inner Rocky as you begin approaching the end of your workout, as it’s time to give yourself that one last extra push before cooling down.

To help you unwind, this track starts off nice and slow, with the beat picking up half way through to make sure you leave the gym with a smile on your face, feeling revitalised and recharged.
