2024 British Swimming Championships to be held at London Aquatics Centre

The British Swimming Championships are coming to the iconic London Aquatics Centre – now one of Everyone Active’s flagship centres – on 2nd April, running until 7th April 2024.

This is a key event in the British Swimming calendar, playing a vital role in the selection for the swimming teams for the summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris this summer.

This is the first time since 2015 that the British Swimming Championships have been held at the London Aquatics Centre, a venue that saw so much drama during London 2012.

Both Olympic and Paralympic events will be held concurrently across the six-day event, with heats in the morning and finals in the evening. The para-swimming competition will be run with multi-classification competitions.

The British Swimming Championships are the latest in the long line of prestigious aquatic competitions to be held at London Aquatics Centre since the conclusion of the epic London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. These competitions have included: the International Swim League, Super League Triathlon, British Swimming Championship, Sport Relief, National Paralympic Day and FINA Diving World Series.

This year’s British Swimming Championships are set to be a fantastic event, packed with household names such as Adam Peaty and Maisie Summers-Newton, so get your tickets and come and support all the Team GB swimmers and divers heading to Paris this summer!
