East Hampshire Health and Wellbeing Physical Activity Service’

Everyone Active’s Health and Wellbeing Physical Activity Service provides an opportunity for individuals to access a high-quality supervised exercise programme. The service is designed to provide professional support for people who suffer from, or are at risk of developing, chronic medical conditions. Also, those whose health and wellbeing will benefit from a more active lifestyle.

What does the health and wellbeing programme involve?

We provide support, advice, and encouragement from our fully qualified Exercise Professionals. They will design and guide you through your own personal exercise plan depending upon your medical conditions and abilities.

Activities include:

  • Gym-based exercise*
  • Group fitness classes*
  • 1-2-1 Sessions
  • Swimming*
  • Water-based activities e.g. Good Boost*
  • Group classes e.g. Aqua Aerobics
*Participation in activities are dependent on your medical condition(s)

Which health conditions does the programme cover?

The Health and Wellbeing service covers variety of health conditions.

These include neurological, musculoskeletal, pulmonary, arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity, as well as depression, anxiety, and a range of other conditions.

Those in receipt of the listed qualifying benefits below who do not currently have a gym membership can access the service for free for 6 months if accessing one of the following surgeries:

  • Chawton Park Surgery
  • Boundaries Surgery
  • Badgerswood Surgery
  • The Clanfield Practice
  • The Grange Surgery
  • Horndean Surgery
  • Rowlands Castle Surgery
  • Pinehill Surgery

If you are not in receipt of the above benefits or registered with any other surgeries you can still access your consultation and 1-2-1 sessions FREE. The following prices then apply:

Taro Leisure Centre – £22.49 per month
Whitehill & Bordon Leisure Centre – £29.98 per month
Alton Sports Centre – £32.23 per month

This includes patients from both Liphook Surgeries (Liphook Village Surgery & Liphook Station Road Surgery), both Liss Surgeries (Liss Surgery & Riverside Surgery) and Swan Surgery in Petersfield.

How can I join the health and wellbeing service?
