Everyone Active and Swim England partnership

Everyone Active and Swim England are working together to turn the tide on inactivity by creating a nation of swimmers.

Swimming is a vitally important life skill. As well as opening up a wealth of activity opportunities, providing fun family time and having a positive impact on both physical and mental health, it can also genuinely help to save lives.

We will be working with Swim England over the next three years to get more people benefitting from all that swimming has to offer and ensure that aquatic activity is accessible to everyone.

Our joint ambition for 2019 is to engage more people in water-based activities and achieve 10 million swims across Everyone Active’s 120 swimming pools. To do this, we have launched a #10MillionSwims campaign, which will raise awareness of all the fantastic public swimming activities we offer and break down the barriers that prevent people from participating.
