About this Centre
Horfield Leisure Centre has nearly completed a significant refurbishment. Here at Horfield, we offer a huge range of activities to help everyone on their journey to enjoying being more active. Part of this revitalisation of our facilities includes a full gym extension and refurbishment, including new, modern design, as well as state-of-the-art Life Fitness kit. The new gym boasts a full range of cardio, resistance and free weights, as well as a functional area.
Our group fitness programme features over 150 classes a week held in our dedicated group fitness and brand-new group cycling studio. We also have up to five small group functional training sessions on the gym floor each day.
The centre also boasts a 25-metre main swimming pool with a moveable floor, as well as a teaching pool, both of which host our award-winning swimming lessons, as well as a range of other water-based activities, including lane swimming, open public swims and family fun swims.
Additionally, we have four well-maintained, floodlit 3G five-a-side football pitches, as well as one larger 8-a-side pitch. The sports hall caters for a range of sports including badminton, basketball and table tennis, while we also have two squash courts. For anyone looking to relax after an activity or grab some hot food then our new, extended café – opening mid-February – will also complement our range of facilities and services. We have memberships to suit everyone, ranging from annual to flexible pay-as-you-go options.

Swimming Pool
Our two swimming pools – comprising of an eight-lane 25m main pool, as well as a large learner pool – cater for all needs. We offer award-winning swimming lessons, as well as a selection of other aquatic activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Artificial Football Pitch
Our brand new, all-weather 3G pitches allow you to enjoy playing football whatever the weather. You can choose from four five-a-side pitches and one eight-a-side pitch. Why not join a league, or just to use the pitches for either a friendly kick about with friends.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you.
