What do I need to wear to go skating?

It is advisable to wear something warm and comfortable but you will get hot so layers are best. We also recommend bringing gloves and wrap up warm (no scarfs).

Do you accommodate group bookings?

We have discounted rates for all activities at selected times for groups with 10+ children.

Can I learn to skate?

At Everyone Active Slough Ice Arena we offer an excellent Learn to skate program for all ages and abilities. For more information please click here.

Do I need to book an ice skating session in advance?

It is advisable to book all skate sessions in advance to avoid disappointment. All bookings and payments can be made online.

Can I hire skates?

Yes we provide you with skates and a helmet and you will be able to hire this online at the time of paying for your session. Please note that our hire skates are available from a child size 8 to an adult size 14.

Where can I collect my skates?

Once you have made your booking you will be sent a confirmation slip that you will need to present to the reception in the skate hire area. They will be happy to help you find the right size skates and helmet.

From what age can children use the Ice arena on their own?

All children under 8 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Do you have a viewing gallery?

For those that like to keep their feet firmly on the ground we have a café area to warm up with a cup of coffee and a viewing gallery where you can be ready with the camera for your next Facebook profile picture.

Will I be able to use my wheelchair on the ICE?

Slough Ice Arena Ice offers the opportunity for people with special needs and/or disabilities to access the ice rink via their wheelchairs.  On the public skating sessions, accompanying carers skate for free and an adult entry ticket is charged, for those of concessionary status a reduced rate is available.
