About this Centre
William Penn Leisure Centre has all the facilities anyone could want to help them enjoy their fitness and leisure time. There’s a fully-equipped gym, as well as a swimming pool in which we hold our award-winning swimming lessons, as well as a number of other aquatic activities to suit every taste.
We boast two group fitness studios in which we host a variety of group fitness classes to suit all ages and abilities. In our sports hall, badminton sessions are available among other activities. Meanwhile, you can also make use of our outdoor floodlit all-weather football pitch.
This centre has implemented a cashless system. This has significantly reduced queuing times and improved customer service.

You’ll be able to enjoy a huge range of different group fitness classes in either of our two dedicated studios. All our classes are led by highly-trained instructors and the wide range means there’s something for everyone.

Swimming Pool
We boast two pools here at William Penn Leisure Centre, the 25m main pool and the smaller teaching pool. It’s here that we host our award-winning swimming lessons, while you can also enjoy fitness swimming sessions, as well as using the pool for fun swimming and a number of other aquatic activities.
Artificial Football Pitch
Enjoy a kick about on our floodlit artificial pitch. Our fully-floodlit astroturf pitch is available to hire on an individual basis and for regular club bookings.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you.
