Staying Active sessions are ideal for older adults of all abilities and can be a great way to meet new friends whilst keeping fit and active. Remember, eat well, move more, live longer. Activities take place at venues across the borough and newcomers are always welcome as activities are low impact and cater for those who are just starting to be active or for those wanting to stay or be more active.

Why get active?

  • Reduces the risk of coronary heart disease and strokes
  • Helps reduce high blood pressure
  • Helps control body weight and can help to control diabetes
  • Reduces the risk of colon cancer –it may also help prevent other forms of cancer

Everyone Active offers concession gym and swim memberships for seniors (66+ years) at the Acton Centre Acton Centre | Gym, Swimming Pool & Fitness Classes | Everyone Active and Northolt Leisure Centre Northolt Leisure Centre | Gym, Swim & Fitness Classes | Everyone Active, which include the majority of group exercise classes. Exercise Referral Scheme

The Everyone Active Exercise Referral Scheme is currently available at the Acton Centre, Dormers Wells Leisure Centre and Northolt Leisure Centre. The scheme is the perfect way for people with long-term health conditions to move more to improve their health and wellbeing. We want everyone to be able to enjoy at least half an hour of physical activity, five times a week, and we’re here to help you. For more information contact [email protected]

Leisure Pass Scheme
