Training for Sailing


If you think sailing is an easy sport, which just requires you to spend time in the boat practising and gaining experience on the water, you’re wrong. It requires an immense amount of physical and mental preparation to ensure you’re at peak condition for events.

To find out more about how much work goes into sailing full time, we spoke to one of our Everyone Active Sporting Champions athletes, Will Alloway, about what it is about sailing that makes him love it so much, how he goes about preparing himself for competition and what work he needs to do in our gyms to ensure he stays at peak physical condition.
