About this Centre
In the beautiful town of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast, the leisure centre has a great range of activities available for you to enjoy. Our gym features a fantastic range of equipment to help you reach your fitness goals, while our pool is where we host our award-winning swimming lessons. We also host a great range of group fitness classes, including group cycling sessions, while our sports hall hosts badminton and table tennis sessions, among others. You can also choose to host your child’s birthday party here and choose from a wide variety of parties.

Gym
Our 45-station gym has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and comes complete with state-of-the-art TechnoGym cardio and resistance equipment. All of our equipment is linked to the Everyone Active online platform that allows you to track your activity.
Group Fitness Studio
Our group fitness studio plays host to a variety of different classes. Whatever your fitness goals may be, you’re sure to find the right class for you, while the social nature of the sessions means you can meet new people too.
Swimming Pool
Our 25m, four-lane main pool and adjoining learner pool are great for a family swim, fitness swimming, or just to have fun in the water. The swimming pools also play host to our award-winning swimming lessons and is also used by our local swimming club.
Sports Hall
The four-court sports hall is perfect for five-a-side with friends, badminton, table tennis and basketball. A very friendly and open facility for any type of sporting or general activity, you’re sure to find an activity to suit all your needs.
Tennis Courts
The centre now boasts two brand new hardcore tennis courts with floodlights also being installed in summer 2024. Court bookings are available throughout the week.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you.
