Whitby Leisure centre is all set on one level with full access for wheelchair users.
The centre is fully fitted with automatic or power assisted doors, a male and female accessible toilet with hand rails, adjustable seat and power assisted access. For those wishing to take a swim, we have a wetside accessible changing facility with a changing bed, fully functional sling hoist and track to both pools and accessible toilet/shower.

About this Centre
In the beautiful town of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast, the leisure centre has a great range of activities available for you to enjoy. Our gym features a fantastic range of equipment to help you reach your fitness goals, while our pool is where we host our award-winning swimming lessons. We also host a great range of group exercise classes, including group cycling sessions, while our sports hall hosts badminton and table tennis sessions, among others. You can also choose to host your child’s birthday party here and choose from a wide variety of parties.

Swimming Pool
Our 25m, four-lane main pool and adjoining learner pool are great for a family swim, fitness swimming, or just to have fun in the water. The swimming pools also play host to our award-winning swimming lessons and is also used by our local swimming club. If you require further information, enquire today.
Gym
Our 45-station gym has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and comes complete with state-of-the-art TechnoGym cardio and resistance equipment. All of our equipment is linked to the Everyone Active online platform that allows you to track your activity.
Sports Hall
The four-court sports hall is perfect for five-a-side with friends, badminton, table tennis and basketball. A very friendly and open facility for any type of sporting or general activity, you’re sure to find an activity to suit all your needs.
