While you may think that Everyone Active only offers traditional gyms, group fitness classes and swimming pools, that’s not necessarily the case. We also boast a huge portfolio of centres across the country with extra facilities that are perfect for school summer holiday activities with the family.

Alongside its wealth of facilities, Alton Sports Centre features 19 brand-new Top Rock climbing walls and a brand new soft play area. The soft play area is great for smaller children wanting to burn off all that energy.
While the climbing walls are aimed at both young and old thrill-seekers, offering a challenge for beginners and more experienced climbers alike. There are plenty of routes to choose from, it’s up to you to pick the best way to the top!
Parents can take advantage of the instructor supervised climbing sessions by hitting the gym or visiting the on-site Chawton Park Spa for a pamper session.
Basildon Sporting Village plays host to just about every sport you can think of. Alongside world-leading swimming pools, a sports hall, an athletics stadium, group fitness studios and it’s also home to the South Essex Gymnastics Club. There’s also a brilliant climbing wall that provides fun for climbers of all ages and capabilities.
At Coral Reef Waterworld, there are five incredible and interactive flumes to entertain the family, as well as a free-form leisure pool with fountains, bubble pools and even a pirate ship. If all this excitement gets too much for you, there’s a lazy river to relax on and a spa for the grown-ups to enjoy.
There is an impressive outdoor swimming pool and a kids’ paddling pool with fountains at Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre. The family can also enjoy a game of football, squash or even take a dip in the indoor pool.
K2 Crawley has a huge number of facilities available, making it a great destination for a whole host of school summer holiday activities. Prime among these is the 12m climbing wall that provides a fun and challenging time for climbers of all ages and abilities, with a variety of possible routes to the top. Can you master them all?
Where could be better to enjoy various school summer holiday activities than King George’s Playing Fields? This vast site offers a fantastic range of activities to keep the kids entertained this summer. Outside, there’s an adventure play area to help the kids stay active while enjoying those rare bouts of good weather. Meanwhile, on the inside this site also boasts a superb two-story soft play area and an all-new TAGactive arena, too.
King George’s is dedicated to being as accessible as possible to everyone. to that end, the facility also boasts a Changing Places changing room, as well as a sensory room to provide a safe therapeutic space for people with sensory needs.
The ice rink at Lammas Leisure Centre never fails to disappoint, especially during the summer holidays. Whether you’re an experienced skater, or you’re keen to learn, Lammas is the place to be to enjoy this great winter sport. We’ve got loads of fully-qualified coaches on hand to help you improve your skating, or you can just skate for fun.
But that’s not all there is to keep the kids entertained at Lammas. There’s also a TAGactive arena, a fantastic new game that’s designed to test strategy, speed, agility, awareness and bravery, while promoting fitness, fun and competition!
When it comes to the school summer break, Mid Suffolk Leisure centre is the place to be. Not only does it boast East Anglia’s premier indoor climbing facility in the form of The Cragg climbing wall. There’s also Play World that features a whole host of different activities for children aged up to 12.
The Cragg has 330m2 of climbing surface, a dedicated bouldering areas and more than 30 lines to climb, with ever-changing routes to the top. Making it great fun for the whole family.
There’s also the remarkable Play World facility that has all sorts of features to suit kids of all ages. These include ball cannons, under-5s play area, slides, Go Karts, Cannon Tent, Disco Dome, the football zone and aerial glide.
There’s plenty to do at Redcar & Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart. It has a swimming pool, gym, group fitness studios, sports hall, sauna and steam room; but it’s the FlowRider where the magic really happens.
The thrilling ride simulates surfing by generating a stationary wave with a thin sheet of water no more than 8cm deep. It takes practice, but once you’ve mastered it, you can carve, turn slide and ride on this exciting piece of kit.
Salt Hill Activity Centre is unlike any of our other centres. For starters, it doesn’t really have any traditional leisure facilities and focuses instead on entertaining activities designed for everyone.
Romford’s Sapphire Ice & Leisure Centre is the perfect activity to enjoy as a family this winter. A delightful school summer holiday activity, ice skating is fantastic fun for beginners and more experienced skaters alike and it’s ideal for families to enjoy together.
If skating isn’t you thing, fear not, Sapphire also has a plethora of other activities available for you to enjoy.
What better school summer holiday activity than skiing? Silksworth is the North East’s premier dry slope skiing and snowboarding facility, boasting three separate slopes.
There’s a 160m main slope, as well as two nursery slopes. This means skiers and snowboarders of all capabilities can hone their skills on these slopes before heading off to the real thing. We have fully-qualified coaches to help everyone enjoy their time on the slopes.
Meanwhile, you can also try out snow tubing on our slopes, with all the fun, but less of the effort of skiing or snowboarding!
Whether you want to enjoy the ice rink, the Clip ‘n Climb area, or the more serious climbing wall, we’re sure to have you covered at Slough Ice Arena. The centre has recently been extensively renovated as well, making it an even more tempting destination for the whole family.
Stratford Leisure Centre has everything you could ever need from an Everyone Active site to help keep the kids entertained and active during the school summer holidays. As well as the fantastic swimming pool (including Pool Inflatable sessions), Clip ‘n Climb facility, sports hall and artificial football pitch, there’s also a TAGactive arena at Stratford, which is great fun for all the family!
As well as world-class swimming and gym facilities, Sunderland Aquatic Centre hosts the enormous Atlantis Mega Inflatable assault course in its pool every weekend. This is the ultimate inflatable challenge. Can you complete the course in the school summer holidays without falling in?
If you’re looking for school summer holiday activities in the Taunton area, then look no further than the Vivary Golf & Adventure Centre. As well as the brilliant 18-hole golf course, the adventure centre offers activities to get everyone excited.
There’s also foot golf, crazy golf, a climbing wall, power fan descender and a high ropes course to challenge even the bravest.
The indoor climbing facilities at Westway are some of London’s biggest and best. There are over 110 lines for climbing up to 13.5m, as well as extensive bouldering facilities.
All this makes Westway a pleasurable day out for the whole family. As well as climbing, you can also enjoy activities such as tennis, football, table tennis.
White Oak is a fantastic centre with a whole host of activities to keep your kids entertained and active during the school summer holidays.
